Preparing For Labor And Birth
In your weeks leading up to labor, were you like this too?
I am 37 weeks along, first pregnancy. In the past week I have been freaking out. I haven’t felt the baby move much, which I went and got checked out for and all was fine. I have been having strange pains, which worry me. I have been having excessive discharge, a great amount,of pressure in my pelvis, and I worry constantly about the health of my baby. I know everything I am going through is just my body preparing for birth, but someone please tell me that they have felt similar anxiety/paranoia? I feel silly about it.
Yes everything is normal! I had my first child at 35 weeks and never even had symptoms… now I am pregnant again and currently 30 weeks.. lol I am feeling the same things right now that you are.. I made the doctor check me at 29 weeks because I just knew that baby was coming or something.. It is so normal to go through that.. it’s a good thing you are a great mommy for worrying so much. It is ALWAYS better safe than sorry. Don’t be afraid to march up to the doctors office and demand them to check you out and make sure everything is okay, You never know when something could be actually wrong. It’s better knowing then something going bad!! Good luck!!!
