Labor And Delivery Stories
2nd labor stories??……..?
I know I’ve asked something similar to this but I’m looking for a wide variety of answers to read. With your 2nd labor and delivery how much did it differ from your 1st? Did you go faster or later? Easier or harder? Just curious as to what the experience was…. I’m 28weeks and starting to get nervous. My first was simple and quick. I will give 10 points to the most detailed! Thanks bunches.
My second was significantly faster (4 hrs vs 20 hrs). I was at work on my last day before maternity leave and surprised at lunch when I started having contractions 5 minutes apart. Everyone is different, I went to the doctors office thanks to one of my co-workers and he followed us to the hospital. Unfortunately, my husband was a commuter and missed the birth when he train was delayed. (and a lady sitting next to him was in a huff because the train stalled, he had to laugh) . He figured we would have 10 hours or more but oh well. The contractions were worse for #2 because it came on so fast but the labor was much easier in the long term.
