Hypnobirthing is basically releasing the fear of birth. Fear causes pain. You learn to put yourself into a deep state of relaxtion, allowing you and your baby to have a painless, spirtual, natural, birth. You get rid of any negativity like the second person who commented. It is your body and your baby’s body, you can control you surges, an how well your birth goes. Relaxing, instead of pusking allows your body to open up wider so there is less pain. I love it. Pain is not a word I really use. Its all about mind strength and how much you want to have that connection with your body and baby. Babies that are born this way are typical happier and better sleepers
I have a doula friend that teaches hypnobirthing classes. She says it is amazing!
I have not done it because I am extremely high risk, so my options are very limited with births.
Good luck, and relax. The idea is to get your mind in a state of relaxation even while your body is sending pain messages. Relax and it will all go much smoother I have been told!
