Is there really an ideal age at which your body is fully ready for pregnancy/childbirth?

I was just curious to see what woman thought at what age you are most likely to have a safe and healthy baby? I know it is different for every woman but wasn’t sure if there was a certain age range which you have the best chances for carrying a healthy baby. Right now I am 25 and my husband and I plan on trying to have a baby in the next 3-5 years. Do you also think your age determines how long it takes for you to conceive?? I’m just curious

I conceived the first month we tried at age 32, and my body was perfectly fine. I worked up until about six days before he was born at 38 1/2 weeks. The baby had some problems, but I have been told it was nothing to do with my age. It was the small amount of prozac I had been taking for anxiety. (My doctor at the time said taking prozac in early pregnancy should not cause a problem, but it did.) My new pernatologist said there is still nothing wrong with my age and conceiving again (I am about to turn 34), but to stay off the prozac – and I definitely am! I look a lot younger, too, than 34, or so people tell me (people think I am in my 20s still. That’s nice!)
